while i disagree with you flooding the newsgroup with
you mindless psychobabble, there is a great problem
in the industy and its called agencies. if you would quit
posting your crap, perhaps you could get a good serious
discussion going. i recently responded to a pick position
here in the states that was listed on monster.com. the
agency (who will remain nameless) botched any chance at
me being hired by this client right from the get-go. if i had
waited 2 weeks for the position to be posted by the actual
client, its a good possibility that i would have been able to
secure this position. I could go on about exactly what this agency
did (or in this case didnt do) but unfortunatly there will always be
some
cocksucker in the group that will stick up for them.
the point of this is , its not just this agency,
ITS ALL OF THEM. this isnt the first agency (but it will be the last)
that i have dealt with. if we as pick programmers banded together,
we could eliminate this scum from the face of the earth. the problem
is that there is always somebody who will deal with the agency, and
there is always somebody who will undercut you. so having a 'guild'
or a union simply will not work. there will always be scabs. i am
interested
in having a serious discussion about this on C.D.P. |
