Firstly, if this is entirely the wrong group to post this question, I apologize. If I should post this elsewhere, please offer your suggestions. However, I have a client that would like some database information, currently stored on an ADDS Mentor server, transfered to another medium/system and converted to a delimited file format for importation into a SQL type database. I don't know the version of the ADDS Mentor, but it's running on a Pentium class server with NCR Unix System V Release 4 (revision ?). It does not currently have ethernet connectivity (serial only). I believe the information was an index of sorts for a Kodak KAR microfilm system. I do have some ADDS documentation (not sure if the version is correct) and root access to the Unix operating system. I am searching for someone who might assist me accomplish the task, if it's possible, via phone support or a remote connection of some type to the system. I would need a rough estimate for labor charges. Any response would be appreciated. Contact me at: rahrenstorff (AT) behaviormanagement (DOT) org Regards, Rodd Ahrenstorff |
