Hello.. I have several SQL server 2000 databases and would like to use Paradox to do queries from the db. Can this be done? If so how, also, I think the installation of Microsoft .NET 2.0 screwed up all my pdox databases as well. thanks in advance |

thanks for your quick response.....in terms of screwing up.... I can not open the databases in Paradox anymore. There is a .NET error message, however since I am out of town, I don't remember exactly what the message was. I do know that Windows XP downloaded an update, and the day after the update, I was no longer able to open the pdox databases |

thank.....in terms of opening, it's like i normally open, perhaps double clicking....I've used it enough to know that it's not opening correctly. When you say create a odbc.... should it be a file, or system dsn? DO i pick or create a paradox or a sql server one. After that, do I just go into Paradox, create a query or what.....that part is unclear to me. thanks for your help |

As for opening files, we'll need the full error message to help further. I expect it's as simple as deleting the PARADOX.LCK, PDOXUSRS.LCK and PDOXUSRS.NET files. |
