Default Repair fsl-file possible? - 10-10-2006 , 11:41 AM

Hello,

just tried to open 'Chorlieder.fsl' with Paradox 8, but I get the error
message 'File cannot be interpreted, maybe it's damaged'. So usually I get a
copy of it from my Backup and replace it. But if I use it for a while, it
will be damaged again (this is 2nd time).

Is there a chance to repair it? Thanks in advance.

Frank

Frank,
I fear you can't directly. In my experience this happened often, when I
tried (accidentally) to put static graphics into the form with more the 256
Colors.
Only thing I could do then:
Open the corrupted fsl-file in an editor (not Word) and look for the
methods. You'll see them among a lot of weird characters in clear
ASCII-mode.
Then you can mark and copy them to a new forms. So you at least save the
time to get the methods and procs back.
No chance - as far as I know - with the form-objects.

Viel Glück beim Sammeln. Ich mache jetzt täglich Backups.
