The Gospel According to Rodney the Wise. I like! (I'm doing a little
research on Gildas Sapiens, Gildas the Wise, so this idea drew a chuckle.)
Compared to that, anything from me is gnostic at best. But when I install a
printer in XP, it asks me, "Will you use this printer with DOS?" or some
such. So maybe its just a matter of uninstalling and reinstalling the
printer, and checking this box.
I like to suggest simple stuff, like plugging it in and throwing the "On"
switch. Occasionally, it solves the problem.
