Howdy, If I use proportional fonts in P9, I find it a (modest) nuisance to see the characters "compressing" in memo fields to the left of the cursor as I type. So, I switched to a monospace font (Andale) for those fields. To my surprise, they display with the same problem (though somewhat diminished.) When I use Andale in MS Word, there is no display difficulty whatever. I can hold down any key, and there is no "packing" of the characters as the long string displays. Might you know why this is happening in Paradox (and is there anything I can do about it?) Many thanks, |
