Egdar

This is a problem caused by Win XP SP2. For P10 there is no way to get this
to work as before. You have to write code to open other tables than Paradox
and dBASE. Or you can create a form.

Queries can be created based on a datamodel instead of tables.

In Paradox 11 this is fixed in service pack 3.

Hi all,
Usually, I opened up Access tables via ODBC from Paradox (using native
"MSACCES" or ODBC "Microsoft Access" driver). This was easy until
"Windows 2000", but on XP no more. I am using Windows XP SP2 and Paradox
10.
I found a trick on "pnews.paradox-intl-es" from "minimum":
con winxp sp2, pdox10 solo va bien con los alias standard cosas de
los cambios de Microsoft...
con pdox 7 sin problemas
en pdox 10
creas una query nueva, en blanco
pulsa sobre el boton "data model"
eliges las tablas
y despues las enlazas...

...but someone know how to do it in the usual way?
(Table/open/[alias]/[table] and ready)

By the way, I will post in pnews.paradox-intl-es (if my english is too
bad )
