I've had this problem too and found that I could set the font to bold if I
used ProView to do it.

Kenneth,

You can make it stick from the Object Explorer. Just select the field or
text, and go to the OE's Appearance tab. If you change the Font.Style to
FontAttribBold, it will stick.
