Default Parallel using Paradox database with c# JET and another program onthe same machine - 01-21-2012 , 05:42 PM

Hello

I'm looking for information about what are requirements to run 2
different programs on the same computer which are using the same
Paradox database. First of them was wrote in Delphi and second in .NET
Framewrok with Jet.

Sometimes they are running in parallel, sometimes not depends
generally on which computer. Maybe it's about BDE configuration?

Or maybe You can tell me what are requirements to run 2 different
programs written in Delphi on the same machine that are working on the
same database?

Is that is possible ?

Best Regards
Przemysław Staniszewski

Theoretically, yes, but you have to make sure to run Paradox in network
mode. It's getting close to two decades since I did that, so you're on
your own for figuring out how.
