Default Paradox change in Corel Office X3? - 01-17-2006 , 09:01 AM

Anyone know if Paradox has any change in the upcoming X3? Or is it
just another rebadged Paradox 10?

I'm surprised to see that Paradox is still in there but I would be even more
surprised if it contained something new.

if there is a "professional edition" that includes paradox, it'll just
be another build of the same thing..

One could fantasize that the issue with querying an sql server is not a
problem out of the box.
If this is no longer an issue......I would order this new version tomorrow.
They do list a pro version on their web site with pdox included.
Hmmmm.......something to think about.

that was fixed in the SPs a long time ago.. I imagine it's safe to assume that
the new one includes that fix.. but, you never know (g).. and you never know
what else they'll manage to break this time..

Hi

I have the following on Corel (
http://www.corel.com/content/vpk/wpx...ewer_guide.pdf )

Enhanced! Paradox® updates since version 10: Paradox can now

connect to external databases by way of ODBC DSN, using Windows XP Service

Pack 2. Quattro Pro tables are now easily imported into Paradox, and
DDErelated

operations within Paradox work more smoothly.

correct.. those "updates since P10" are the contents of the SP that was
released a few months ago.. with the SP on prior versions of P11, this is
the same P11 as the P11 in Suite 11 and the P11 in Suite 12..
