My client is running Pdox 8 on Windows XP machines. Until recently (about 2 months ago) the system was running fine - with the usual corrupt tables every now and then, but basically okay. In the last |

We have everything pointing where it should. |
|
Within Pdox we cannot open any file with a name that is more than 8 characters long. |
|
The path is a one letter drive name which maps directly to the server (which is named "Mail-1"). So our longest file names + path have no more than 20 characters. |

We compared the new and old server settings and permissions and they are identical. |

Hi Barb, have you already tried to migrate your private directory to somewhere else shorter than current location (i.e. C:\PdxPriv) ? |
