Default Nbr of Records per Report Page - 02-16-2007 , 10:19 AM

I am using Paradox 9
I have a report that is created with:
a report page header on a seperate page
a group band and a tableframe that holds the data in a PRIV table

Is there a way to limit the # of records via the Group per page?

TIA

Create a group band and check "Group by record" you can then place a page
brake in the group band.

Right-click on your group | Define Group

At the bottom, Group by Record and # of Records.

You could simply add a Page Break at the Group level on the report, I
believe.

If you need the Group for other things, you may have to add a new Group so
you can do this.

Oops! I'm embarrassed!

I saw Group by Record and # of Records and interpreted it to mean ignore
the group by field I had set.

THANKS !

You can't set both a field to group by and # records to group by using the
same group.

You'll need to define a separate group, and play with the settings to get
the exact output required.
