Default Keeping settings in Pdox 11 - 01-24-2007 , 02:58 AM

Having been a Pdox user since version 1 (DOS) I was somewhat frustrated
and surprised when I found I could not keep my settings in Pdox11. In
Pdox 9 which was my previous version, I simply opened the settings and
preferences; made the changes I wanted, and presto, it was done until I
chose to make changes.

Why can't I do the same in Pdox 11.

My operating system is XP, fully patched.

Corel put a stupid "fix" into the the registyr. It's a reference to a
program that resets all your preferences each time you.

If I remember correctly it was called "Regclean.exe" - someone correct me if
I'm wrong.

The solution is to remove the reference to it.

Thanks!

BTW, Bertil, before I posted I tried to find this problem on your site, but
I couldn't.

Is there a smart way to search your buglists?

Anders

No.

For some reasons, bredband.net is not searchable by Google.

Thanks for the help folks. Sounds a bit crude, but I deleted
"PdxRegCl.exe" after reinstalling Pdox 11. The App is going like a
clock.
