Hurry Up US db community members

It is time for US db community members to join the X-chat to celebrate the
Paradox Day


How to proceed ?
Just read Larry's post

Download and install X-Chat from http://www.silverex.org/news/
Run X-Chat
Choose a handle (you actually have to specify 6 alternate possible handles)
Choose Add under networks, give it a name like EpikNet
Edit that network:
under server, edit that one entry, and make it say irc.epiknet.org/6667
Make sure 'Use global user information' is checked
Set Channels to join to #paradox
Click Close, then click connect.

It either works or it doesn't.

Alternately, you can use the applet on http://www.epiknet.org/chat/
It briefly hung my machine when I tried it yesterday, but YMMV.

1 - Type your nickname in "Votre pseudo"
2 - Go to the bottom of this page :"Un problème de connexion ?
Connectez-vous par IRC"
3 - Click on : Connectez-vous par IRC
4 - Then click on Lister les salons (quite left top of the page)
5 - Type "paradox" on the search part and Enter
6 - Then click on "Joindre"
