Hi
I just got as a gift Paradox for Windows Ver. 5.0. Unfortunately the
person who sent it to me told that he has lost the registration key.
Is there anything to be done to install the program or do I have 7
obsolete disks that are becoming collectors items?
Grateful for suggestions

The last time I used Paradox 5 was 5 or 10 years ago but I believe that you
don't need the registration key to install it. If you are asked for one just
leave it blank and the install should continue.

I think I could give you my version 7 or 8 for free. I have stayed with
Paradox from version 1.0 for windows, and we are now at version 9, still
evalaluating to upgrade to 10, 11 or 12.

BUT, as many have realized, Paradox is a dying creature. Development have
stopped with Corel. So, after all, even if Pardox still is a great tool, I
would absolutely advise you to reconsider other tools.

For myself and our company, I want to convert our data to SQL and apply
ASP:NET as a WEB design tool for the front end. One can be as idealistic as
one may with fantastic tools, still Microsoft is a mighty heavy train. I am
not in position to change the world, I just want some job done in an
efficient way.

(There should be dropped some tears for the incredible Paradox I still want
to leave to rest, almost as with an old dog at its last and sorry day).

For you - I think you try to enter this success many years too late. Sorry.
