IMHO your best option is the articles on www.thedbcommunity.com, the host site of these groups. Lots of good stuff there, tho' no step-by-step. First choice is "Where To Put Code": http://www.thedbcommunity.com/index....13&Item id=44 Then check out the FAQs, available from the Corel Newserver (cnews.corelcom) as the corel.Paradox-FAQ newsgroup. They are really articles. Finally, Mike Prestwood's book seems be available from his website: http://www.prestwoodboards.com/commu...ooks/official/ although I couldn't get the "In Stock Order It Now" link to work. You might try emailing him. While it says Version 9, there are nearly no changes in V10 and V11, the current version. Just something called the StringList type, supposed to be useful for internationalizing applications. Thanks, Jim. I was not aware of www.thedbcommunity.com. I have always accessed this group via Usenet newsgroups. It made me feel a whole lot better to see they have an entire section dedicated to "Where to put your code." I felt a bit stupid admitting I did not know where to begin. Though I was able to get onto www.prestwoodboards.com, the link above does not appear to be directly accessible. I will dig around on the site to see what I can find. I will probably run across additional information that is useful. I know I am interested in the book. Thanks, again. -Ike |

Yes, point your newsreader at pnews.thedbcommunity.com or nntp://pnews.thedbcommunity.com and you'll see we have lots of wonderful groups (and one that's sometimes questionable <g>). |

Also do a search at an online bookstore for Paradox books by Cary Jensen. Though they cover earlier versions of Paradox, all the information is good, and will still work. Here's what I found at amazon.com: http://tinyurl.com/2z9lm2 or http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/105...&Go.x=5&Go.y=4 |

Try this link instead: http://www.prestwoodboards.com/ASPSu...se.asp?tid=103 Notice that that gives you a link to read the book online also. If that doesn't work for you, try signing in on his forums (it's free), because I am signed in there and it worked for me with no problem.
