Default Installing 9i or 10G on Linux RedHat x86 - errors. - 09-06-2004 , 08:00 AM

Anyone have any idea how to get the installer up and running. I have
had 10G installed on this box before.
We scrapped the box, recreated it, and now cannot install Oracle.
Tells me Compat-db-4.0.14.5
compat-libstdc++-xxxxxx not installed, but they are.

I cannot even open the runistaller at this stage let alone get the
database up!

Any idea's?

Clint

1) Version of Oracle? (there are differences in 9i and 10g)
2) Version of RedHat?
3) http://www.puschitz.com
4) version of glibc?
