Default Windows XP - 07-23-2003 , 06:02 PM

Sorry if this question has been asked many time (this is the first time I
have come to this group). Does Oracle offer client software (ODBC) for
Windows XP. We have had to downgrade some of our desktops to 2000 to get
the client version 8 to work.

Yes, I have run 8.0,8i and 9i clients on my XP at the same time ( now only have 9i, since it is backwards compatible thru
8.0) .
So, you could use the 9i client ( if you do not need to connect to any versions older than 8 ) or the 8i client should work
fine...
