Default Toad and Unicode - 11-16-2006 , 01:45 AM

Hi all, I want to display Unicode chars in Toad. I have set the font
for the result grid to "@Arial Unicode MS", but trying this:

select unistr('\0416') from dual

The letter ¿ is displayed instead of the cyrillic letter Ж.

What am I doing wrong?

Does your windows support unicode/cyrillic characters (Try chcp)

I don't know what chcp is. But well, @Arial Unicode MS is a Unicode
font containing cyrillic, chinese and whatever letters which get
correctly displayed in Charmap and Word for example. The select below
should display the letter with hex code 416 in Toad, but doesn't.
