Can someone tell me best approaches and methods to do Sybase (any
version) to Oracle 9i (or above) migration? thanks

Generally speaking one starts by buying Tom Kyte's books and
learning the architecture and concept differences between Sybase
and Oracle so one doesn't go down in flames on the first attempt
and blame Oracle on the second.

Hi

I did this 5 years ago, its quit simple.
I imported the tables into MS access via ODBC
(I had to import into several MS access databases (too many data, i dont
know)
Oracle 8.0.6 had a tool to convert access into a Oracle database.

Another approch could be export to CSV files and then define these as
external tables.
