Default sqlplus for 64-bit linux? - 08-28-2007 , 04:45 PM

Is there a version of sqlplus for Linux on AMD64? I looked at Oracle's
downloads and can only find a 32-bit version, here:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/sof...xelinsoft.html

None of the files on that page contains an sqlplus command-line
client. It's starting to look like I'll have to use a 32-bit machine,
because sqlplus is the only way to set/change passwords. I had hoped
to keep all Oracle-related software together on one system, but it's
looking like that won't be possible.

There is no standalone SQL*Plus. SQL*Plus requires networking and other
libraries as well.

Point your browser to:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/sof...x8664soft.html

From there, you can download the Linux x86-64 Client. This will contain
SQL*Plus and all of the files you need to run it.

HTH,
Brian
