Default sqldeveloper export directories not being kept? - 01-14-2010 , 02:38 PM

I upgrade sqldeveloper to 2.1.0.63 from 1.0.0.15.57. When I
export to Excel files or SQL files, the new version does not
remember what directory I exported to last time and goes back
Documents And Settings\[username]. I looked but could find
not setting in preferences that addresses this.

Am I missing something? This 'feature' is so annoying I'm
using the old version for now.

I've found many problems and annoyances in 2.1 that were caused for
having the software installed in a directory with non-ASCII characters
on its name. Is that the case?
