Default Reports 6i Report Queue Manager - 02-14-2004 , 05:16 PM

Anyoue know of any software that can facilitate submission of jobs to
Reports Server in a fashion similar to its Reports Queue Manager?

I'm looking for something that can be configured to provide a more
user-friendly approach to allow a non-technical, business end-user to submit
reports on an ad-hoc basis. Don't want the users to really have to know the
report module names or internal parameter variable names to specify their
request....something more like picking a report from a list by its title,
being able to collect parameter values more along the lines of the reports
parameter form technique used for client side background engine executions,
etc.

Greatly appreciate your help,

We've done this on a number of projects with a couple simple tables and a
fairly simple form that filters the reports list to those the user is
authorized to run, and dynamically presents the appropriate parameters

What are you using for the UI? Forms? Portal? Web Toolkit?

What are your caching and security requirements?
