Default Oraclel JInitiator Installation Path (v.1.3.1.13) - 05-10-2004 , 02:11 PM

Does anyone know of any way when using the silent install switches to
install the Oracle JInitiator client to a different directory other
than the default of C:\Program Files\Oracle\Oracle 1.13.1.13 ?

I've tried changing the setup.iss file to the following:

[InstallShield Silent]
Version=v5.00.000
File=Response File

[DlgOrder]
Dlg0=SdAskDestPath-0
Dlg1=MessageBox-0
Count=2

[SdAskDestPath-0]
szDir=C:\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.13
Result=1

[Application]
Name=JInitiator
Version=1.3.1.13
Company=Oracle

[MessageBox-0]
Result=1

After the silent install the JInitiator is NOT located at the
directory listed above?

Looking for for those who have run into this same problem. If you
don't have first hand knowledge on this then please don't respond.

How about temporarily change the default installation directory by
modifying the registry value at
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pro gramFilesDir
Let us know if it works for you.
