Default Oracle Query to MS SQL - 05-17-2011 , 03:33 PM

Hi,

I'm trying to find some information on if it is possible (and how) to
query a MS SQL database from Oracle. We are running 10gR2. I'm
hoping to avoid having to dump tables and load delimited files be
querying the MS SQL database directly.

Can anyone help here? Seems like a fairly frequent thing but I am
having trouble finding examples of people who have completed this.

Regards

Your solution may be platform-specific. What O/S is Oracle running on?

You can do it using a listener-based ODBC DBlink connector.

Google: unixodbc freetds oracle
