In my application (which is an extensive questionaire) I use tabbed
canvases to group text items. Since there are so many questions these
canvases are quite high. In fact, higher than their corresponding
window. Therefore, I use vertical scrollbars in the window that
contains the canvas. This way users can browse through the many text
items. The application works fine but there is one annoying fact: If a
user gives input to text-item1 and then scrolls to read a remote
item99 - after a few seconds- the view jumps back to item1 (which has
the focus) hiding item99 which the user is just reading. (This problem
does not appear when users use the tab-key to browse through items,
yet many users prefer using their mouse).
