Afternoon All,
I've recently been impressed by the oracle tools for .NET plugin for
visual studio 2008/2005. At the same time, the oracle offering (SQL
Developer) hasn't been well received by our oracle guys.

Because cost is a factor, I've tried to install the oracle developer
tools on a free visual studio 2008 express edition (the c# one). As
luck would have it (or not!), the oracle installer doesn't recognise
the express edition of visual studio!

There are several other visual studio express flavours, does anyone
know if I'd have any joy looking at these?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

P.S. Version of visual studio included service pack 1, oracle tools we
in the ODTwithODAC1110621 download.
