I intend upgrading from Designer 2.1 to Designer 6i.

As I do not require complicated configuration management, when branching an
application system I simply copy it to another.

When I try and do a similar thing in 9i using the 'Extended Copy....'
command, it runs for hours. Am I doing something wrong?

I only really require versioning at an application system level as I am the
only person who changes the schema.

In stead of the Copy, we always use the export - import utility. That works !
