Default Can't get Oracle Migration Workbench to install - 05-26-2004 , 01:38 PM

Hi,

I'm trying to get Oracle Migration Workbench up and running and am
having some difficulty. I just downloaded it yesterday and have
followed the instructions as far as I could. I need to move some
tables from SQL Server into Oracle. Here's the problem: The
instructions say to download the apporpriate plug-in and put it in the
plugins directory. Specifically, the instructions say:

Copy plug-in.jar to the OMWB_install_dir\Omwb\plugins directory

First of all, the plug in file as downloaded is actually a zip file.
There is no plug-in.jar file, only a plug-in.jar.zip file, containing
a bunch of files and folders. I tried putting the zip file in the
plugins directory, and when I run the .bat file to set things up, it
tells me there are no plug-ins installed and I need to install them. I
tried unzipping the contents of the Zip file into the plugins
directory, and I still get the same thing. I would think one of those
2 options should work. I also tried a few combinations of moving the
plugin files out of their directories directly into the plugins
directory, but didn't have any luck with that, either. At this point
I'm less than thrilled with the documentation.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks,

Ben Beishline

Last time I installed, the Plug-ins needed to be
installed with the Installer.

Is there no products.jar file?
