set of critical patch updates for Oracle.

Ouch if you are running your Oracle database on a windows platform.
( Well then ouch anyhow if you are doing that regardless of the
patching situation ).

We are now rolling with getting the patchset updates tested and then
applied on all systems within 30 days. Makes the quarterly cycle both
good ( since it is scheduled ) an busy.

# time to make the donuts (again).

Donuts will kill you buddy sooner or later. Kind of what happens if
you do not have a good testing strategy before applying maintenance.

Today is the 30th anniversary of me being a paid computer geek. If my
career were a person it would be living in mom's basement.
