[RMAN] Slow target when duplicate

Hi,

We duplicate the OLTP database
from RMAN backup every morning.
The target database (OLTP) is very slow
seems due to control file access.

I know there is an access to the control file.
Can we alleviate this slow down?

I answer myself:
working with a catalog seems to be a good way to go
