Hi, I want to try out Oracle VM Server 3 but I don't have a dedicated server or PC available. Did anyone try to install Oracle VM Server on Oracle Linux on VirtualBox on Windows 7 64-bit? Would be nice if this works... Thanks, Matthias |

This is not supported -- VirtualBox doesn't provide the full dmidecode information required by the Oracle VM Server discovery process. Also, there is little benefit to running a hypervisor inside a hypervisor: it would be almost impossible to run anything meaningful within the VirtualBox instance. |

However, I'm unable to discover my VM Server from the VM Manager - so your remark is probably correct. |
