Default Oracle Goldengate experiences ? - 08-30-2010 , 05:32 AM

Hi,
Any experiences on Oracle's Goldengate on long-time-no-response -
replication ?
We have a case where several databases are not accessible for a week
or so and some kind of replication should be made after those appear
again.
Is Gg a good solution for this kind of replication ?
BR,
timo

Yes, Orcle Goldengate will be a goood solution for the replication. It will replicate near to real time and maintain the data integity. As it is not gui based, the mapping and transformation scripts need to be coded.

Raghu

What sort of replication? Two-way? One-way?
