Any idea when Oracle 11g will be certified on Oracle Linux 6.1? Is
there some kind of roadmap? Couldn't find anything on MOS.

I opened an SR and could not get any good/specific answer other than
"we will email everyone when it is announced".

I was advised to go with 5.7 for a new 11.2 setup.

Mladen's theory sounds about right.
