So that's where the Olsen twins started out?
Yeah, the one that got enough food became part of Larry's harem, and
the other one got passed from Compaq to HP... the mutant triplet that
no one ever talked about went to Intel.

Now we know how many holes it takes to fill the Alert Hall.

Heh! The SR I opened disappeared from my SR list when the Oracle
analyst took over.
Then today I get an auto e-mail reply saying that it's got a reply and
I should go check.
I go check, and it's still nowhere in my list of open - or closed -
SRs.
Hmmm...
I sense another "Brasil/1984/twilight zone" event coming up...

There's still issues with search on tahiti, you'd think people would
have figured out hyperlinks by now.

Narh. If it's not one of the umpteen "frameworks" they all talk about as if the
world was all made the same way, then they don't know about it. And what's
scary is their management is totally sold on the kool-aid...

Found out today why the blessed thing wouldn't appear in my open SR list.

Turns out there are two main categories of SR: "technical" and "non-technical".

Each gets its own screen and can only be viewed in that context.

So, once one gets to the SR screen, click on the "pencil" icon at the right top
of the SR display pane. That pulls down a "dialogue" that allows us to click on
"Technical SR" or "Contact Us" (Supportspeak for "non-technical" - so obvious,
isn't it?...) type of SR.

My SR, being about the doc site being down for 10gr2, was classed as "Contact
Us" and therefore never got shown until I specifically selected that category!

So...
Bleeding...
Non...
Obvious!...

(rolling eyes)

Yeah I forget when that snuck into the mix and obviously not well
advertised. Of course no option to "show everything" ... guess we
need another SR open to note that as a bug?

The pump don't work cause the vandals took the handle!

The bit that gets me is "Contact Us" as option for non-technical.
Who am I then contacting when it *is* technical? Not "us"?
Unreal...
