I know you asked for a web resource but Oracle Tuning 101 is an excellent book source. You could always read the tuning guide from the docs as well. "Petee" <dkj> wrote I'm looking for a good web source for learning about tuning Oracle SQL statements. Any suggestions? Thanks |

There's only one good book on Oracle tuning (and I've read quite a lot of what's on the market) and imho it's 'The art and science of Oracle performance tuning' by Christopher Lawson. Yes - Oracle 101 is brilliant ... this one's better :-) http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/..._books_1_2/026 -0642492-7664436 "Petee" <dkj> wrote I'm looking for a good web source for learning about tuning Oracle SQL statements.
