hardware binding

How can we do CPU hardware binding in vmware/win platform?
(according oracle license agreement)

Is someone running Oracle-databases on virtual-servers with hw-binding.
What kind of experiences you have.
Any specific issues.

Or is real hardware server still better, opinions?
