I did "show parameter recycle" and got the following reply: SQL> show parameter recycle NAME * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TYPE* * * *VALUE ------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------ buffer_pool_recycle * * * * * * * * *string db_recycle_cache_size * * * * * * * *big integer 0 recyclebin * * * * * * * * * * * * * string ** *on SQL What is surprising is BUFFER_POOL_RECYCLE, a parameter that has been obsolete since the version 9.2. It wasn't documented in 10g and I don't understand why was this obvious atavism retained in 11.2? Here is the link to 9.2 documentation that qualifies this parameter as obsolete: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/A97630_01/...6536/ch119.htm This should have been removed altogether or retained as an underscore parameter. It isn't documented, but it's there. --http://mgogala.byethost5.com |

Bug 4331420: DBUA FAILS WITH "STRING INDEX OUT OF RANGE: -8" ERROR is an example that dbua has to be able to handle all kinds of bizarro version skips. |
