What is "Vista"? Is it something like "Fedora" or "Ubuntu"? There is
"vpnc" for both Fedora and Ubuntu, it works like a charm. Execute
"uname -a" at the shell prompt and post the result.
I wholeheartedly advise you to use one of the mainstream distributions
for desktop, like OpenSuSE, Ubuntu or Fedora, not that unexplored and
quirky "Vista" thingy, whatever it might be.
