Please accept my apologies if this is the wrong group to post to.

I have an issue with processing XML. I have a CLOB which contains XML. The
XML could follow one of a few XSDs and so the parsing needs to refer to an
XSD (or a table that contains xpaths for the XML schema). All I then need to
do is look up a key according to the xpath and populate a field.

I don't know if this is enough information, but I have tried to get my head
around XMLType in Oracle 10g but I have not got good enough resources to
understand it.

Has anyone done anything similar within PL/SQL? Any help would be gratefully
received, even if it is simply to point me in the direction of a good point
of reference.
