It is possible to install and run it BUT Oracle does not certify it...
which means no support. They only certify it on NT.

If you mean 8i, yes, but it must be 8.1.7, and it is certified.

FYI.... Oracle 8 without an i means 8.0.x. With an i means 8.1.x.
