::1 is a ipv6 notation. Oracle does NOT work with ipv6 addresses in the
host file
You do not have a fully qualified server name in your host file
(something like 192.169.1.8 inhome inhome.yournetwork.com)
Furthermore, it seems your xwindows system is not working.
