Default Producing variety of formatted letters ( like the old Mail-Merge ) - 05-08-2009 , 02:24 PM

I need to find whats available for a 10g server using ASP & .net to
have the capability to produced formatted letters using something
like "templates".

Where I can just populate certain parts by simply substituting name,
address and other pertinent data from the database.

I'm looking into PHP, CSS, XML, Oracle Text so far..

We dont want Discoverer or Crystal Reports

any ideas, suggestions, experiences ?

Thanks alot

George

How about oracle reports? It makes fine pdf's. I understand it can also
make and also Word Documents (though I understand the word docs created
aren't very editable).
