Java b4 oracle?

Hi
my config.
Oracle 10g
RedHat linux fedora 4
Host=winxp pro sp2
tool=vmware

When I use runInstaller to install oracle, there are some exceptions right
from beginning of the process.
something to do with Java, do I need to install Java before Oracle...
