Hi list, we have some 11g and 9i servers and I want to transfer data from an 11g to a 9i one. Using the exp from 11g naturally fails, because the imp of 9i can't read the dmp format. Using the imp utility from 9i also fails because I get a segmentation fault (no message on the command line, but a Windows window telling me that exp.exe encountered an error. Using the imp utility from 11g on the 9i also fails. Does anyone has any idea? Kind regards, Christoph |

As you can see on the screenshot[1] I'm using version 9.2.0.1.0 to connect to the 11g database - without success. The screenshot is in German, but I guess you can understand most parts. If not, I'll translate it. Regards, Christoph PS.: Jack, sorry for directly mailing my first answer to you.
