Hi Oracle license says, that standby node does not need a license if its not used for more then 10 days per calendar year. How can i obtain this activity time? Thanks |

The definition of standby for the reference is where you install non- RAC Oracle one node of a cluster and in the event of machine failure bring Oracle up on another node. *Your shop would be responsible for keeping track of the number of days you ran on the unlicensed machine. |
