Default How to connect to Oracle Management Server (OMS)? - 07-13-2003 , 01:06 AM

Hi! Everyone:
I am trying to use "Backup" from Backup Management within Oracle
Enterprise Manager Console, but everytime it pops up error message that ask
me to connect to OMS first. I don't know where to find it and how to connect
it. If anyone can give me a clue, I would appreciate it!! Thanks!!

Clairvoancy helmet is in for repairs....Please give us a little hint of your
environment (eg: OSs, database versions, ec.)

If you use a Windows platform, consider looking at the services - one of them is
possibly an OracleManagementService (or similar) & it should be started if you
want to use it.

You might also consider going to the documentation (available at
http://docs.oracle.com) or the online samples (http://otn.oracle.com > sample
code > Oracle By Example) which have windows related examples.
