Default 11g standard edition database - no expdb - 08-19-2011 , 08:56 AM

Tried using the data pump expdb from the command line on my 11g
database server and got the response that there is no command with
that name. Performed a search on the server and there are no
executable with that name.

Am I missing something here? Is expdb supposed to be included in
standard edition? Does it get executed from command line or within
sqlplus?

Try expdp. If that doesn't work use your server equivalent of ls -l
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ex*

(Think export data pump rather than export data base)
