PRIMARY SKILLS

* Oracle 8i, Oracle 10g database, SQL SERVER, PL/SQL, MySql, Unix,
Linux.

* 5+ years as an Oracle DBA 8i and 10g.

* 2+ years experience with MySql.

* Requires senior level skills in all aspects of database design and
support including technical analysis and problem solving.

* Hands-on extensive experience with Oracle 8i and 10g RDBMS including
installation, tuning, recovery, archiving and patch management.

* Good understanding of the enterprise application architecture and
the various Application tier and Database tier components: underlying
objects, schemas/products, database objects, file system structure,
tables, views, packages, procedures, sequences, indexes, and
constraints.

* Strong experience in production database performance tuning and SQL
tuning.

* Experience in database design, architecture, planning capacity,
disaster recovery.

* Experience in ETL, PL/SQL programming background and proficiency
with Java.

* Experience in shell scripting.

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

* Knowledge of Oracle Replication (including Oracle DataGuard and
Streams)


SECONDARY SKILLS

* Java, Enterprise Java, JDBC, JMS, JBoss, Eclipse.
