URGENT NEED FOR ORACLE DBA

Our client is a Fortune 500 company with a strong 20,000 employee base
offering a portfolio of services to companies that include process
consulting and outsourcing; application consulting and outsourcing and
infrastructure services. As a potential consultant or an employee you
are guaranteed to work with the newest and most exciting technologies
and services.



TITLE: ORACLE DBA
LOCATION: Fort. Worth, TX
TYPE: 6+ months with strong possibility of extension


ROLE:

* Responsible for administering and maintaining Oracle relational
databases and assisting the application development teams in
optimizing schema design and SQL statements.
* Support production environments with flexible weekly rotating pager
support will also be involved.
* Provide the expertise for design and performance of database
structures, assist with database performance tuning, database capacity
issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.


Required Skills:

* 5 years of experience as a production Oracle DBA in a Linux/Unix
system most recently supporting Oracle 10g databases in a RAC
environment
* Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills and experience with database
development using stored Procedures.
* Experience with Sql Server Database



Desired Skills:

* Prior Java application development exp.
